Pro Section FIDE Rated. Minimum 2100 FIDE rating required

100% of Pro entries returned as prizes.
Projected Prize Fund, based on 50 paid entries:
1st $2,500 2nd $1,500 3rd $1,000 4th – 8th $500 each
Entry Fee: $150 by April 30; $180 by July 21; $200 at door
U2300 Futurity Section – FIDE rated
FIDE rated players OVER 2000 half price.
Trophies, $200 bursaries to top two finishers

Trophies, $200 bursaries to the top two in each section
Entry Fee for Futurity & Amateur: $70 by April 30, $85 by July 21; $100
at door.
New this Year! Club Prize: $600. 4 player teams from same club,
max 2 players in same section, multiple teams per club permissible. Contestants
must play within 200 points of their peak rating and are not eligible for the
family prize.
Teams are subject to approval by organizer.
Family Prize: $600. Top 2 scores, any sections, immediate family only
(spouse, sibling, parent/grandparent/child), contestants must play within 200
points of their peak rating and are not eligible for club prize.
Bursaries, family prize and club prize shall be 50% cash and 50% CMA gift
certificates.
CMA sales table on site throughout tournament.
On site registration July 27: 4pm-6pm, July 28 9:00am –
10:00am
Opening Ceremonies July 27: 6pm – 7pm. Blitz tournament afterwards.
Play begins July 28. Rounds 1-8: 11am and 5pm daily,
final round August 1st at 11am. Closing Ceremonies asap after 3pm

Byes: A maximum of 3 half point byes in the first 8 rounds may
be requested with entry.
Eligibility Unrated players may not win cash prizes. Players in Amateur Sections
may play up
one section only, based on current rating. FQE Ratings taken at par.
Pro Section will use current FIDE ratings.
(FIDE) Time Control: Game in 110 minutes with 30 second Fischer increment
